Rixt Luikenaar, MD, FACOG

Rixt AC Luikenaar is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist physician who graduated Cum Laude from Medical School at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. She is a business owner and entrepreneur, MBA graduate from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, Adjunct Faculty member at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah, co-author and co-editor of “Transgynecology,” a textbook published by Cambridge University Press in 2023.

They have a passion for Gender Affirming Care, Neurodiversity, Psychedelic Medicine, self-determination and bodily autonomy, and improving access to healthcare for all people. They finished a Psychedelic Medicine Certification at Naropa University in 2022, MDMA psychotherapy training with MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies), and a fellowship with the Ketamine Institute in Sarasota Florida. They are WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) Certified since 2018. They are a Consultant for Teladoc and FLo Health and are affiliated with the Crane Center for Transgender Surgery.

Dr. Luikenaar lives in Salt Lake City with their family and 4 Sphynx cats.
